Any tutorial requires a base to operate on. This first part shows how to install and configure WebSphere MQ 7 on RedHat Enterprise Linux 6.2.<\/p>\n

Prepare the Operating System<\/h2>\n

Download and unzip the installation image<\/h3>\n

  1. Login to the IBM Partnerworld Software site and download the IBM WebSphere MQ installation image as a tar.gz file<\/li>\n
  2. Login as root<\/li>\n
  3. Issue the following commands<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. MQ runs only under the mqm<\/b> user id and mqm<\/b> group. Any user assigned to the mqm<\/b> group can administer the server<\/li>\n
